304SS Bottle Opener

The bottle opener started out as a manufacturing project to use only open source software in design and manufacturing.  

Stainless steel was chosen over other commonly available materials like aluminum and steel for its toughness and durability.  We didn't start out with the "shark" design.  The overall dimensions were limited by the least expensive stainless flat bar available, 304SS, 1/8" x 1/2" x 96", and the "shark" design was the best fit for the raw stock used.
